Stevie Ray vaughan

Another person I appreciate so much and that I think is underrated is Stevie Ray Vaughan. My favorite guitar player. He didn’t just play music, he lived for it. There wasn’t anything better than playing the guitar for him. He didn’t care about the money he made. He overcame his addictions and decided to be a better influence for the ‘kids’ and I appreciate that. It is sad that some people have to leave us so soon, but its always the one who gives so much. R.I.P

Elton john

Hey! This happens to be my first blog. I thought I would give it a try. I was a little apprehensive at first but lets see how i feel after i post some. So, I wanted to just say that I think we should all recognize  a very special and talented artist: Elton John. Sometimes I feel like he is under rated. Now some of you are probably thinking “what? Everyone thinks he is amazing but I really dont know why.” But for those of you who have passed him by and never gave him another thought, are missing out. I know that the costumes and some of the things he has done and said have probably put you off. If there was anyway I could get you to try his songs out I would, so thats why im writing. I feel like, his music and him are two totally different people. There is the Elton that can sometimes be well.. a little crazy at times and there is Elton, the musician/singer. When he sings his songs he can totally change into what ever the song is talking about and turn into the character that it states. He becomes someone else. If you have never listened to tumbleweed Connection or Madman across the Water or any other album he has produced then it is hard to picture Elton like this. I can understand. There have been many artists that i have never really listened to just because of something they said or did that i didnt like. But I encourage you to try something new. Because i guarantee that Elton has a song for you that you will love .
